Unseenlabs is committed to providing the most complete overview of maritime traffic. Over recent years, we have revolutionized maritime surveillance by providing a new layer of information to maritime stakeholders. Our first goal is to detect radio frequency (RF) signals emitted by ships globally. It allows us to deliver accurate and reliable RF solutions to our customers worldwide (governments, NGOs, shipowners, marine underwriters, etc.) ๐ข๐๐ฟ ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐ The company was created in 2015 by the Galic brothers. They quickly realized that the actors of the maritime industry lacked visibility in their own waters. Existing surveillance systems were outdated and insufficient, allowing illegal activities to go unnoticed. ๐๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ญ๐๐๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ ๐ฐ Since the launch of BRO-1 (BRO stands for Breizh Reconnaissance Orbiter) in 2019, 12 other BROs blasted into space. The aim is to extend the constellation to up to 25 satellites in 2025. Unseenlabs satellite constellation specifically detects, characterizes and geolocates RF signals coming from a wide range of emitters. It covers sea areas of 300 000 square kilometers! In 2026, weโll be launching a new constellation called โGeneration NexTโ which will detect RF from sea but also on earth and space. ๐๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ At Unseenlabs, we call ships that turn off their AIS transponders and vanish from detection "dark shipsโโฆ The issue is that they can engage in several unlawful activities. Our job is detect, geolocate, and track them, by using space-based radio frequency (RF) detection. Our tech is focusing on maritime surveillance. It allows us to: - Conserve our oceans (Illegal or undeclared fishing (IUU), overfishing, ocean dumping, etc.) ๐ - Protect territorial waters (exclusive economic zones, continental shelves, etc.) ๐ก - Secure sensitive maritime assets (offshore infrastructure such as submarine cables, wind farms, etc.) ๐ถ - Combat piracy ๐ดโโ ๏ธ Unseenlabs SEAs the Unseen ๐ฆ๐
