Basic information:
Location: hybrid from Warsaw (4 days from the office / 1 day remote)
Rate: PLN 120-180/hour net + VAT
Type of employment: B2B contract
Duration: 12 months + extensions
Recruitment process: 1 or 2 stages
English: B2+/C1

Key Interactions
You will interact primarily with Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Test and Quality, with additional key interactions with other Engineering groups, Project Management, and Clinical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test cases and test protocols to verify software functionality
- Champion efforts to improve utilization of automated test techniques in support of software development, build and release activities, and formal testing
- Work closely with product development teams to build the list of failure modes and how those should be tested
- Work with engineering and quality to ensure the proper execution of the test protocols and help ensure a quality product is produced
- Help define and refine software design and test control practices
Experiences and Qualifications
- 6 years of experience
- Hands-on software testing experience preferably with complex medical devices
- Knowledge of software architecture and user interface automated testing
- Experience writing test protocols and decomposing sophisticated user interactions into simple and clear instructions.
- Experience with software quality systems
- A background in system test and software engineering processes
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
- B.Sc. in computer science or related field
- Experience in Python and knowledge of C++
Preferred
- Working experience in FDA or other highly regulated environment
- Experience with automated GUI testing tools such as Squish
- General knowledge in other subject areas, including electrical and mechanical engineering
- Experience working in an Agile software development context
