We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on AI Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong backend foundation who has started integrating AI/ML solutions into real-world applications and is passionate about building scalable, secure, and production-ready AI systems. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Data teams to design and implement AI-powered solutions for banking and fintech use cases, ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance with financial standards.
Experience
3+ years of experience in software development (backend or full-stack).
1+ year of hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models into production environments (OpenAI, Claude, AWS Titan, Bedrock, or similar).
Experience working with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and Bedrock.
Proven experience implementing automated testing and quality assurance.
Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services is a strong advantage.
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Python (required).
JavaScript/TypeScript (preferred).
Experience integrating commercial AI models (OpenAI, Claude, AWS Titan, etc.).
Familiarity with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face (or willingness to learn).
Experience with embeddings, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, or model evaluation is a plus.
Solid experience with AWS cloud services.
CI/CD pipeline experience.
Strong Git and collaborative development workflow experience.
Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (PyTest, Jest, Mocha, etc.).
Understanding of AI output validation and quality monitoring.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
Experience designing and building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement AI-powered features in fintech and banking products.
Integrate commercial AI models into secure and scalable backend architectures.
Develop APIs and services that leverage AI capabilities.
Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance in financial contexts.
Implement automated testing and validation frameworks for AI outputs.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Continuously research and evaluate new AI tools and automation opportunities.
Document technical solutions and communicate findings clearly.
