Automation tester with BluePrism
Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful automation initiatives, collaborate with international stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of automation standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain Blue Prism automation solutions
Collaborate with business analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical automation designs
Build reusable, scalable, and secure automation components
Perform unit testing, support system testing, and assist with user acceptance testing
Troubleshoot and resolve automation defects and production issues
Ensure automations comply with security, governance, and operational standards
Contribute to documentation, including solution design documents and operational guides
Support continuous improvement of automation frameworks and development standards
Required Skills and Experience
Proven hands-on experience developing automations using Blue Prism
Strong understanding of robotic process automation concepts and best practices
Experience working with object-oriented design principles within Blue Prism
Ability to interpret business processes and translate them into automation solutions
Experience working in enterprise or large-scale environments
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in team-based and international settings
Desirable Skills
Experience working within an Automation Centre of Excellence
Exposure to process analysis and process improvement methodologies
Experience with version control, release management, or structured delivery frameworks
Background in testing, quality assurance, or production support of automations
Working Style
Comfortable working in fast-paced project environments
Proactive, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
Able to manage workload independently while collaborating closely with others
