Job Description
Collaboration with cross-functional teams (BE, FE, QA, PO, SM) to design, implement, and scale test automation solutions,Development and enhancement of the Java-based test automation framework,
Creating and maintaining UI automated tests using Playwright (and Selenium where applicable),
Working within 2-week sprints in a Scaled Agile setup,Ensuring code quality through refactoring, use of design patterns, and static analysis tools,Integrating the automation framework with xRay, Allure, Jira,
Developing CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions,Supporting the shift-left testing approach across the organization.
Expectations
At least 5 years of experience in test automation,
Strong expertise in Java, deep knowledge of OOP, and experience building test automation frameworks from scratch,
Hands-on experience with Playwright (or Selenium) and test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit,
Practical understanding of SOLID, DRY, KISS, encapsulation, and common design patterns (including Decorators, Factories, Facades, Strategy, Builder),
Experience with Maven, especially multi‑module projects and plugins such as surefire, failsafe, and compile,
Experience integrating tools such as xRay, Allure, Sonar, PMD,
Good knowledge of GitHub and GitHub Actions,Familiarity with Lombok, POJO definitions, and refactoring best practices,
Experience working in SAFe / Scaled Agile environments,
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams,
Nice to have: experience with Python for basic performance testing and familiarity with AI agents / GitHub Copilot.
