AI Automation & Operations Engineer Location: Remote Schedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm MST Salary: 1,800 to 2,200/monthly net pay (paid bimonthly)
About the Role
Were looking for a results-driven AI Automation & Operations Engineer to join our global team. This role focuses on streamlining business operations through AI-powered tools, process automation, and system integration. Youll take ownership of our back-end tech stack auditing existing systems, implementing process improvements, and ensuring all business functions run efficiently and intelligently.
Youll work across departments including Operations, HR, Sales, and Marketing to integrate and optimize platforms such as Microsoft Suite, Monday.com, HubSpot, Applicant Tracking Systems, Learning Management Systems, Sales Funnels, Marketing Funnels, and Finance Automations.
This is a long-term role for someone who thrives on innovation, loves solving operational inefficiencies, and wants to help scale a modern, AI-empowered organization.
Key Responsibilities
Audit and enhance existing workflows, identifying areas for automation and efficiency improvement
Design and implement intelligent workflows using Make.com, Zapier, GPT-based tools, and other automation platforms
Integrate key business systems (HubSpot, Microsoft Suite, Monday.com, CRMs, ATS, LMS, etc.) into seamless, data-driven operations
Develop automation logic, prompt chains, and AI-driven processes that reduce manual work
Build and manage webhooks, APIs, and data automations between apps and platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and reduce friction
Monitor, troubleshoot, and QA automation systems for accuracy and reliability
Document workflows and provide clear, accessible guides or video walkthroughs for internal teams
Stay updated on emerging AI and automation technologies to continually improve efficiency
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in automation, AI operations, or systems integration
Proven expertise in Make.com, Zapier, and OpenAI/GPT automation workflows
Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and conditional logic
Experience working with CRM, project management, and productivity platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Monday.com, Airtable, Notion, Microsoft Suite)
Familiarity with sales and marketing funnels and finance system automations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Highly organized, analytical, and proactive in improving processes
Comfortable working asynchronously in a global team environment
(Preferred) Basic knowledge of Python, JavaScript
