Senior QA Automation Engineer in Python and Azure Cloud

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team and drive test automation initiatives across complex enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar

Execute automated and manual test cases for web, API, and Big Data applications

Collaborate with development teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Utilize version control systems (Git) to manage test automation code

Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Python Requests library

Perform browser automation and validation for web applications using tools like Selenium, and apply knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Identify, document, and report defects effectively, ensuring issues are tracked to resolution

Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to process improvements

Requirements

Strong programming skills in Python and experience with automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework)

Proven experience with browser automation tools like Selenium and a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Hands-on experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or the Python Requests library

Solid understanding of testing principles for Big Data applications

Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (Git)

Hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted testing tools for test preparation, automation script design, or test data generation

Experience mentoring junior team members

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in an Agile environment
