QA Test Automation Engineer | £50,000 - £60,000
We're working with a fast-growing enterprise scale-up and digital transformation specialist on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Python-focused automation expert to join a high-performing QA team of 15, tackling complex integrations and modernising testing frameworks across internal and external platforms.


This is a unique chance to work on a mix of greenfield projects and legacy modernisation, using a modern stack starring Python and Playwright. You will thrive in a fast-paced, people-first culture where you are encouraged to challenge requirements and drive quality across the entire customer journey.


The Role

• Lead the enhancement and maintenance of a core automation repository using Python and Playwright.


• Work within a BDD environment using Behave to create robust, scalable test suites.


• Transition legacy frameworks from Selenium to modern tooling while ensuring continuous delivery.


• Collaborate with a large QA team to automate complex integrations with enterprise systems like SAP, Oracle NetSuite, and Salesforce.


• Actively participate in requirement refining, asking the right questions to bridge gaps in documentation.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in QA Test Automation with strong Python scripting capabilities.


• Hands-on experience with Playwright or a strong desire to transition from Selenium.


• Solid understanding of BDD methodologies and tools such as Behave.


• Experience testing complex enterprise-level systems (SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce or similar) and API testing.


• The ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment where requirements may be fluid.
