About The Role
We are seeking a meticulous and technically skilled Data Validation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our SaaS solutions, particularly those involving scientific and financial algorithms. As a Data Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies within our cloud-based infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the accuracy and performance of our products, supporting our mission to deliver robust and dependable software solutions to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of software development, data analytics, and cloud technology, contributing to innovative projects that shape the future of SaaS applications.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


• Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python.


• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.


• Strong understanding of API testing and development of integration tests.


• Hands-on experience working within cloud environments, particularly AWS.


• Knowledge of data validation techniques, scientific and financial algorithms is preferred.


• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.


• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases to validate our cloud-based SaaS products, ensuring they meet specified requirements for accuracy and validation of scientific and financial algorithms.


• Collaborate closely with developers to identify testing needs and develop comprehensive testing strategies that provide thorough coverage of the entire product.


• Code in C# and Python to create unit and integration tests optimized for AWS environments, ensuring minimal resource footprint and high efficiency.


• Author API-based tests that interact with core system functionalities, automating the execution and evaluation of test results to determine pass/fail status.


• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks, ensuring seamless integration into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.


• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, providing insights and updates on testing progress and challenges.


• Utilize data analytics skills to analyze test results, identify trends, and propose improvements to testing processes.


• Proactively identify potential issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions.


• Document test cases, results, and issues thoroughly to facilitate transparency and ongoing improvement.
