QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing automated test scripts for new and existing functionalities,

Participating in the selection of automated test architecture for existing and new functionalities, ensuring high standards are maintained within the organization,

Performing, checking results, and maintaining existing automated tests in various environments,

Analyzing documentation for testing purposes,

Creating reports on test activities performed,

Reporting and analyzing detected defects,

Performing manual tests of mobile and web applications or API tests,

Introducing good practices related to testing and optimizing testing processes,

Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers, sharing knowledge and experience.




Requirements

Many years of commercial experience as a developer or in testing applications with Web/Mobile/API test automation (optional),

Very good knowledge of Java for creating test scripts and process automation,

Ability to work with CI/CD tools: GitLab, JFrog Artifactory,

Advanced knowledge of Git version control systems,

Experience with Gradle tools,

Practical knowledge of the software development process,

Experience in a testing environment based on the Agile Scrum methodology,

Ability to work with test support tools, e.g., Jira, TestFlo,

Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-team environment.




Nice to have:

Experience in building a testing platform,

Knowledge of Jenkins, Maven,

Knowledge or experience related to finance (knowledge of FX and trading platforms is welcome),

Ability to work with Appium, Cucumber, Playwright,

Practical knowledge of REST Assured, gRPC.
