Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project
You will be involved in a financial project focused on delivering a modern, file-based payment system for business and corporate customers.
The Corporate Access Payables solution is designed to replace legacy payment platforms and unify payment file processing across multiple countries. The system provides a standardized XML payment file format to customers and integrates with existing legacy payment systems to ensure seamless transaction processing. Currently live in four Nordic countries, the platform is continuously evolving with new integrations and enhancements. The team operates within the Payments Hub, working in an Agile SAFe setup with sprint deliveries and quarterly PI planning, collaborating across Poland, Sweden, India, Finland, and Denmark.
Responsibilities you'll have
Contributing to and executing the automation test strategy for application releases
Designing and developing automated tests for GUI (Web) and service-layer (REST) components
Maintaining and expanding the automated test repository
Executing automated test cases according to project timelines and reporting results
Supporting defect management and documenting test outcomes
Designing system, integration, and acceptance test scenarios
Expanding and enhancing the existing automation framework to support new technologies
Supporting production issue analysis from a testing perspective
Promoting test automation best practices within the team and supporting manual testers in automation adoption
Expected competences and knowledge
5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation (Web GUI and/or REST services)
Strong coding skills in Java, Python; experience with Robot Framework
Experience with Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Cucumber, Postman, Chrome DevTools
Solid understanding of software testing principles (e.g. ISTQB Foundation level)
Ability to drive and support QA activities across the delivery team
Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Fluent use of Git
Basic experience with SQL queries
Skills in data manipulation using XML, CSV, JSON
Strong communication skills in an international environment
Willingness to continuously develop automation competences
Nice to have:
Basic performance testing knowledge (e.g. JMeter)
